Milo’s Tea #RefreshingDrink

I had the opportunity to test out Milo’s Tea. Lately sweet tea has been one of my favorite things to drink. I have been trying to cut out the sodas and have been doing good so far. I was able to find this at my local grocery store. Sometimes tea is slightly too sweet for me. I feel that this will be one of my favorite teas to pick up at the grocery store.

Re-Post: Changes in my life… Becoming a temporary homeschool teacher.

Things these past couple of years have been chaotic to say the least. COVID and all the lockdowns. I had to learn how to work from home. Working remote was such an interesting experience. With working at home that meant becoming a homeschool teacher for my daughter. Yes she did have the zoom sessions with her teacher from the school but I felt that so much wasn’t being taught to my daughter during that period of time. I felt it was necessary to get products that would help my daughter see the fun in learning like science project kits, educational games such as OSMO as well as others.

When the kids were allowed to return to school they let me know that my daughter had some of the highest test scores compared to when she was actually going to the regular school. That actually made me feel amazing. It was a scary experience at first to let her go back into the school building with the COVID virus still around. However slowly by surely everything started to get back to normal. Kids were allowed to play with each other have normal interactions again. I truly enjoyed helping my daughter with her schooling.

Back to School: 2nd Grade

Its hard to believe that my little girl is now in Second Grade. She has been placed in a smaller classroom which is amazing as she definitely needs the extra attention. She tends to speed through all of her homework and gets bored easily. She has been excelling in her reading and math skills. She loves to read as much as possible with most chapter books she can finish it within a couple days.

Adventures with Coley & Chelsea: Crafter’s Workshop!

This year we have been making it our priority to get back into the Arts & Crafts. Over the years we have received many tutorial books that help us learn about different craft projects. We always have had the knack for trying to create different things.

We have been learning about making Reborn Baby Dolls. Since we have always loved collecting these precious little ones. It has been fun attempting to create these beauties ourselves. We have been making little purses, crocheting blankets, etc. We want to be able to learn new crafting options.
