Adventures with Coley and Chelsea: Life is Changing!

This past few weeks have just be traumatic for us. We went have been a family of 7 (our pets included) to a family of 5. One of our dogs seemed to be going on a downhill slope. She was almost 11 years old and for awhile seemed like she had a few more years in her. She ended up getting a tumor on her hip that made her have a hard time walking and she seemed that she was in a lot of pain.  We tried our best to help Bella the one that had been getting sick. We have always been living check by check and trying to survive. All of the medical bills that it would of taken just was not in our budget and there was a large chance of her getting the tumor back. We had to let Bella go up to heaven. I know that she is no longer suffering and is up with my grandparents and mom. Continue reading →

Getting Creative with Coley & Chelsea: Zen Origami!

Chelsea and I really enjoy learning how to create different origami figures. My Sister in Law is from Japan so these books have been a great way to connect with her. My family has a great big background of crafting several of my cousins, aunts and even siblings love to be creative. I love to share that with my daughter Chelsea. We seem to have started this series on reviewing origami books and ideas. It is very relaxing doing these types of paper crafts.

Reading Time with Chelsea: Adventures at Camp Nana Papa! #Reading #ChildrensBooks

This fits our family perfectly as Chelsea calls her grandparents on my side of the family Nana and Papa. Plus we go camping every year. Chelsea really loves reading about the adventures these 2 kids have with their grandparents and it reminds her of the times that she has with her grandparents.  We really thought it was cute that the book also comes with a cute little stuffed animal firefly. Chelsea has been carrying it around with her everywhere lately.

Family Game Night with Double Ditto! #DoubleDitto #FamilyTime #GameNight

Our family loves to play many different types of games. We had been playing a game that kinda falls around the same category as this one while we were on our camping trip so I thought that it would be a big hit with our family and sure enough it is. We really love playing this game with the family. We love that the game keeps us entertained for hours.
