Chelsea and I just enjoy having time out during our days to play games together. We especially love when there are even learning involved. Blue Orange offers games that really get you thinking. We got to test out Mr. Eureka and Fast Flip. Chelsea and I love that fast flip fits right into her travel bag and that we are able to take it anywhere we go. I love that you have to quickly match different items. I love that it is fruit. Especially that it has Chelsea’s favorite fruit. We love that Mr. Eureka really gets you thinking on how to solve the puzzle.  Continue reading →

Laundry Time with Purex Plus Clorox 2! #laundrytime #Purex

Purex has been my go to laundry detergent for some time now. I really love that this company is always trying to improve their products making them continuously better. Purex now has a detergent that has Clorox 2 inside of it which is very helpful with getting out those tough stains. These detergent has really worked on several of my husbands work outfits.

Reading with Chelsea: New Favorites from Penguin Young Readers Group! #Reading #ChildrensBooks

Sometimes I feel like I may have lived a sheltered life. Since one of these books is actually a 75th Anniversary Edition. I wish that I knew about this book sooner. Make your way for Ducklings by Robert McCloskey is such an adorable story and it wouldn’t fit Chelsea and I any better. We just adore wildlife. This book would have been a great addition to our camping trip last month. I know that we will be bringing it along with us next year. Each year when we go camping it is around the time when the ducklings are hatching so we get to see the little baby ducks and even baby geese.  Continue reading →

Needing an idea for a gift for new mommies out there? I know when I had my little girl Chelsea I really felt that having her baby monitor gave me some peace of mind so that I could leave her in her crib to sleep and get a few chores done around the house. I loved that I was able hear if she started crying. I love that Motorola now offers video baby monitors. I am able to the monitor in her room and watch what she is doing while giving me a chance to clean up things around my home. Adventures with Coley & Chelsea: Day 7 at Wilderness Lakes! #Art #Nature #Wildlife

Hard to believe this was our last full day here. Chelsea and I spent majority of the day relaxing and enjoying the sights. We really love just spending time with the wildlife. I really love the geese and the ducks. We played games, colored and painted. We went for a little walk around the campsite to take the dogs for a walk. The last full day is always hard because you realize that you will have to get ready to head back to work and get off of vacation mode.  This vacation was a lot of fun and I am happy for the adventures that we had. I know Chelsea can’t wait for next years trip to begin.

Adventures with Coley & Chelsea: Day 6 at Wilderness Lakes!

This morning we got up early to have breakfast and take the dogs out for a walk. We are going to go visit Joes Farm and Petting Zoo.  I think that it is great that Menifee and Perris California have many different places for families with small children to go to for free or at a low rate. This Farm is located in Perris, California. I really loved that there was a wide variety of animals to see. They have chickens, ducks, donkeys, horses, pigs, sheep, goats, turkeys, alpacas and even a camel. I really loved one of the donkeys he was such a sweetheart.

We also decided to head over to Temecula to see the different little shops that they have and just walk around for a little bit. I really liked seeing the downtown area. It was nice seeing the different shops and getting to spend time with my family.

When we got back we enjoyed a nice and peaceful lunch. Chelsea settled down for her nap while Denise painted with watercolors and I colored. Denise really does a great job with her water color paintings. Sometimes she doesn’t give herself enough credit as they look as if she is a professional painter. I love just relaxing outside watching as the ducks & geese go past.
