Chelsea has been getting sick a little too much this Cold and Flu Season. She has allergies on top of that. Sneeve has been a blessing in disguise. If she doesn’t have any tissue near by then she is able to wear this so that she isn’t blowing germs onto her clothes and getting them all dirty. These are disposable which is great.

We’ve all seen it: A runny nose swiped across a just-washed sleeve. A gloppy sneeze into the arm of a brand new sweater. Getting Creative With Coley & Chelsea: Geometric Origami Super Pack! #Origami #Japan #Traditions

Chelsea and I really enjoy learning how to create different origami figures. My Sister in Law is from Japan so these books have been a great way to connect with her. My family has a great big background of crafting several of my cousins, aunts and even siblings love to be creative. I love to share that with my daughter Chelsea. Family Vacation Time: Los Angeles Zoo! #Zoo #AnimalAdventures #ToddlerFavorites

Chelsea and I really got to enjoy ourselves this weekend. We went to the Aquarium of The Pacific and then the next day we were able to enjoy the Los Angeles Zoo. I don’t believe that I had even been there before this time. I was just as excited as Chelsea to see the different animals. We really loved seeing all of the different animals. I don’t think that we even saw half of the animals at the zoo. Chelsea really loved going to the petting zoo part and getting close to the Giraffes. Chelsea just adores Giraffes. Chelsea really loved being able to play with the Otters and even brush the goats in the petting zoo. We really loved that we were able to get close to our family members.  Continue reading →

Family Time

Sometimes you just need to step back from all your responsibilities and take some time to just play with your children. I know that Chelsea really enjoys when I play games with her and do art with her. She loves having time with her daddy too. She has been enjoying cuddling with her daddy and watching cartoons. Sometimes he comes home late and exhausted so that’s her way of having time with her daddy. Lately we have been having family dates so that has been helping our family grow stronger. I really love when we can spend time together the 3 of us. I know one day we are planning on expanding our family. We have been thinking about trying for another little one but just don’t know when will be the best time for that.

Getting Creative with Coley & Chelsea: Popsicle Stick Butterflies

Chelsea and I enjoy getting creative. We decided to try making butterflies out of popsicle sticks and yarn. We chose a few different colored yarns and got 2 different size wiggly eyes. Chelsea really enjoyed making this little craft. She loved being able to play with them after they were done.

Family Vacation Time: Aquarium of The Pacific! #FamilyVacation #Aquarium

Chelsea and I just love looking and taking care of animals. We really love that we were able to take part in this family vacation. I love that this place was new to not only Chelsea but to me as well. I had never been to this Aquarium. It was so much fun seeing the different types of fish and even birds they had there. Chelsea and I really loved looking at the eel, seahorses, jelly fish and even the sea lions.  Chelsea loved playing with the sea lion. She thought it was funny how the sea lion would play with my sister Christina’s Chapstick and her pack of Kleenex.  Continue reading →
