Wet‘n’Wild Las Vegas today announced it is spearheading a ‘Coats in the Cabana’ Drive, a charity effort designed to collect new or gently used, clean coats for men, women and children that will be donated to the Salvation Army, the Shade Tree Shelter and Child Haven during the winter months.
Community members who donate to the drive will receive a $10 coupon toward a 2016 Wet‘n’Wild Season Pass for each coat donated. Among businesses serving as drop-off locations are: Simmons Group, Grand Canyon Development Partners, SurgiSpa, Fisher & Phillips LLP, and the Jolley Urga Woodbury Little law firm.
“Wet‘n’Wild may be a summer park, but we are members of this community year round,” said Takuya Ohki, general manager of Wet‘n’Wild Las Vegas. “We are always happy to help those in need and give them access to something everyone should have when the weather turns cold – coats. We are also grateful to the participating local businesses for their giving spirits and willingness to assist in this effort.”

Once collected, the coats will be brought to a cabana at Wet‘n’Wild Las Vegas, 7055 S. Fort Apache Road, and representatives from the charities will pick them up to distribute to those in need. Coat donations will be accepted through December 11, 2015.

I just love the smell of fresh pine so be able to include this in our 2015 Holiday Gift Guide is definitely an honor. These Wreaths are absolutely beautiful. We already placed ours on our front door. It really makes our house look festive. We hardly ever can afford a “Real” Christmas Tree. We have been using the same plastic one for the last 8 years. It works to I have always love the smell of the Christmas Tree so have the Wreath on our front door we can smell the beautiful scent of fresh pine. I love how each Wreath at Christmas Forest is hand crafted. The Wreathes have tagged on them letting you know exactly which person in the company created the Wreath. Another thing I noticed was on the box it says that it came from Santa Claus and his elves. That is a great touch Chelsea really got a kick out of that. She was so excited to pose by our Wreath. I feel that these adorable Gnomes are just perfect for any couple in many different generations. I know that my grandparents would of thought these were cute as can be. I know my grandpa would of probably left notes for my grandma inside the gnomes little pouch. So even though we are in a tech filled world. Couples that don’t use technology as often will still get a kick out of these. I love that these come with a book to give you a few ideas of how to show your loved one how much you care. I know that these are great for even young teenage couples, newlyweds or even couples that just got engaged. I thought that the concept of these animals was just amazing. My daughter really loves to save money so I thought that Pouty Pig would be a perfect match for her. I also felt that the Krazy Kitty would match her too since she always seems to need a little extra light. She named her Krazy Kitty “Francesca” and her Pouty Pig “Pigsty”. Sometimes just sitting down at the table doing some type of craft is what we need to relax and take a break from the day. Chelsea and I decided today that we would paint a couple of out canvas. Chelsea really enjoyed just putting a bunch of colors all over hers. I wanted mine to be more thought through so it took a bit longer than Chelsea to complete. Chelsea said that hers is a train and a house. To me it looks like abstract art that at one point looked like a dinosaur. I wanted mine to be holiday themed since we are now in the winter season.
