Sometimes its nice to just sit down and color. I know that you may feel like you don’t want to just color the average coloring books that you may see in the stores. Now there are coloring books for the more advanced artists. I love being able to color with my daughter but on a book that is more at my level. I love being able to have my own coloring books.
Chelsea and I have been getting an assortment of Advanced Coloring Books so we thought it was perfect timing for us to try out these eco-friendly colored pencils. I really enjoy using them as they color and write very smoothly. I feel that they are great for adults to use for the sketches. I love that these Coloring Pencils come with free printables. I love this rewarding program called Nora & Leo. It comes with a fairy or pirate doll, treasure chest, a bag of pretend jewels, a story book and ideas to show your children how positive behavior is better for the family to function. My daughter has really shown improvement since we implemented this program into our home. She still has many times where she acts out but being 3 years old she is still just learning the way we need to behave in the home and out of the home. She loves when Nora gives her jewels. Once her treasure chest is filled I let her pick a small something from my mystery bag. Chelsea and I got the opportunity to try out this sweet baby doll, Baby Amaze by VTech! She is so sweet. I know my daughter really has been enjoying playing with her. She has so many features. She comes with a pacifier, baby bottle and 3 books. The books really help with teaching young children different words and baby amaze repeats it right back to you.
Although Halloween has usually been considered a children’s holiday, these days increasing numbers of “furry kids” are getting in on the fun.

We really enjoy watching all of the educational shows that PBS Kids has to offer. I really love that these shows are available on DVD. I can just put one on in our DVD Player and know that these films are safe for my daughter to be watching. We really love all of the little episodes that are included on this film. My daughter and I recommend this to all of the families with toddlers and preschoolers as being a great movie to include in your child’s stocking or add to your DVD collection.
We got the opportunity to try sample the New Disney Music album called “We Love Disney”. Many of our favorite titles have been remastered by some of the up and coming artists of this year. We really love how they mixed them and put their style to the different hits. My daughter was so excited to hear some of the songs from her favorite movies. She kept wanting me to replay them over and over again. She really loves the way they remastered “Everybody Wants To Be A Cat” from Aristocats. Just hearing her scream “Its Marie Cat”. She has been in love with that movie for a long time.
Hard to believe in a little over a month we will be pulling out our Northpole Communicator and be chatting with the elves and Mrs. Claus once again. I know Chelsea really enjoyed her daily call with everyone in the north pole. Check out our experience we had last year…..

Anything that helps us get into the holiday spirit each year is something that I will love for years to come. The North-pole communicator allows us to talk to Elves, Navigators, Timekeepers, Mrs. Claus and Even Santa. Chelsea has been having a ball making her phone calls every day. Each time we call we talk to a different person. We are only allowed to call one time a day as each person has something specific to say about the day. Its kind of like an advent calendar now that I think about it.
